Traditional Easter egg coloring!

After our Navy Pier visit we came home and decorated Easter eggs. Giselle did not join us with this activity. She was sleeping or maybe Grandpa was holding her..either way she was not involved and that was OK with us!

We boiled the eggs the day before and just needed to set everything up. The kids love watching the colors change in the cups!

Genevieve and Aunt Laura are ready to make some creations!

Genevieve and the crazy eyed mommy! Do you like Genna's new glasses. She picked them out. I was just excited we got them for cheap from Zenni optical. So tired of expensive glasses breaking! We are also all a little sunburned and wind burned from downtown!

Aunt Laura thank you for your help with the eggs. We love having you there to help!

Have you seen the movie "Beaches"? This picture reminds me when Barbara Hershey says " I have my mother's hands!" I really do have my mother's hands. They look like old lady hands..sorry mom but they do and now mine do too. How weird huh....side note..pretty eggs right! :)

Jillian wasn't always the most patient waiting for her eggs to turn the color she wanted!

The kiddo's with their finished eggs. Some are light pink. some are deep blue. some are multi colored. Some have words and some have cracks. All were made with love and excitement!
