April 27th- Jillian's Baptism!

Jillian's baptism was so special.  She really was excited and wanted to make the choice to be baptized.  She had almost all of her family members there and even a few friends from school.  The spirit was very strong and it was a real privilege to be there to feel it.
Afterwards all the family came back for a big BBQ!  Our families keep growing and growing so there was a lot of people..the crazy part there were a lot missing!!
Brett was on grill duty and he did an amazing job.  I love this kind of stuff so I was excited to use some fun party stuff I had been getting over the past months.  One was a glass mason jar with a handle and fun lid with straw.  I also found some super cute little chalkboard signs to label the food.
After we stuffed our faces we walked over to a nearby park and played some kickball and catch.  We had been praying hard for nice weather and our prayers were answered. It was BEAUTIFUL and perfect to be outside in!  Thank you so much to all of our wonderful family members for making the drive to be here. We loved every minute and everyone of you!

April 25th- Middle School play "Annie"

Jolie and Genevieve decided to try something new and try out for the school play!  The play was "Annie Jr." Genevieve won the part of "orphan" and Jolie was in a special group called NYC.  They practiced and practiced for WEEKS!!! Opening night was a success and they did such an amazing job. Personally I thought Jolie's was the most authentic looking outfit of her group..but you know I'm just a little biased!
Almost ALL of our relatives were in town for Jillian's baptism that weekend and some had driven all day to make it in time for their play that night. So you can imagine how crushed we were when we got to the school and found out someone had crashed into a transformer and the school was closed....NO PLAY!!!
They looked great but were crushed!! A few weeks later they were able to perform one last time.  Way to go girls you were FANTASTIC!!!!!!

April 14th- Jillian's 8th Birthday!

This birthday is a BIG one! Jillian was so excited to turn eight and to finally be baptized.  She was lucky to still have Grandma Fox visiting and could share her actual BIRTH day with her.  It was pretty low key because the BIG party is only days away but she was such a happy beautiful girl.  We can't believe our little girl is so big now!

April 11th - Jolie's 12th Birthday!

Jolie was counting down the days until she turned 12!  The day finally came and she had a smile the whole time!!! Her first present was something she wanted since was at least 6yrs. old...her ears pierced! She finally got them done today! She was pretty nervous but pleasantly surprised that it barely hurt!  She was excited to also have Grandma Fox visiting and to open her first pair of "Toms" those are the pink pair of sparkly shoes.   She is now an official YOUNG WOMEN!

She had this cute face ALL day!!!

March 31st- Easter

Easter was a lot of fun but not very warm! We have afternoon church this year so we woke up to find our Easter baskets. The Easter bunny was extra tricky this year and hid one in the oven and Mommy didn't think to check in their before she heated it up for cinnamon rolls...Luckily just the chocolate was ruined..it was Jolie's basket and in it was her first curling iron but only the packaging was melted and the rest was fine.
Then we went outside for an Easter egg hunt.  They were hidden pretty tricky this year and it took the kids quite a while to find them all. We headed in to dye hard boiled eggs. It has been so busy that we didn't have a chance until then.  After a quick lunch we dressed in our best clothes and headed for a wonderful church service!

March 30th- Jacob's 5th Birthday!

Jacob's birthday was Easter weekend and it was not very warm but that didn't slow him down!
We started things with a pizza lunch at the park!

And ended with a skittles birthday cake after dinner...green of course!!! As you can see he has a thing for Batman right now..and The Hulk and Iron Man and pretty much all super hero's!  He still loves trains and big trucks of any sort.  He loves his friends and of course his sisters..but the main man in his life is..DADDY!
