Jillian's Foot is Broken!

Mommy: Jillian how did you hurt your foot?
Jillian: By the monkey bars! member, that's how i broke my bones, my inside bones.
Mommy: What color is your cast?
Jillian: BLUE!!!!! Because i picked that color.
Mommy: Do you like the special shoe they gsve you?
Jillian: yup, mommy asks: are you sure....she continues to say yes! * yesterday she screamed for 20 minutes when they told her she couldn't wear her tennis shoe. She did NOT like the special shoe. But apparantly she got over it*
Mommy: who wrote on your cast?
Jillian: Mommy and daddy jolie and genevieve, jacob can't draw yet...so you did it mommy.
Jillian doesn't seem too bothered by a cast. She

Jacob's favorite toy!

Jacob can be anywhere in the house and hear the door of the dishwasher open. He comes crawling as fast as his little body will take him. He loves to help by emptying as much as he can...and tasting all silverware to make sure it's clean of course. Once it has emptied to his satisfaction, he will climb in and inspect any damage. If a sister tries to take him out, resistance is met.

Brett and I play basketball for a league at our church. Normally his games are saturday mornings at like 7am....so we don't usually go. This time it was at 10am. All the wives came to the game. It was so much fun to root for our men. The kids had a ton of fun as well. It was on Valentines day so there is a lot of red in these pictures. The cutes part was Jillian and her friend Morgan they were cheering in the beginning. " Go Daddy Go" over and over ......so adorable.

Brett playing ball and showing his mad skills. I"m not sure why the picture is so dark..bummer!

Jolie posing with her sucker she got that morning! Yay for Target dollar bins!

All the wives and kiddo's, aren't we a fun bunch!

Looking sexy in that penny!

There was one casulty. Lando injured his ankle...it swelled up big time and he ended up getting an air cast. But he's ok now!

changing clothes is disasterous!!

Jillian is a very independent child. She loves to be like her big sisters and do what they are doing. Right now she can not keep the same outfit on for longer than 2 hours. She also is only 3 she can't reach most of the clothes. She empties a clothes basket and turns it upside down to climb up and get as many clothes down as possible. These two pictures are from the last incident. I had a heart attack. She took clothes out of all drawers and closets and just dumped. I had genevieve help me and Jillian for a little while and didn't even look like I made a dent. Finally I went in there when Brett was home and went through everything, hanging clothes up and folding and matching and putting things away. Needless to say right now JIllian is NOT allowed to change her clothes once she is dressed in the morning. It's been hard for her,but she is doing really well. Ahhh, the life of a busy trendy daughter!

The evidence!!!!!!

Genevieve is Star of the week!

Genevieve was star of the week and part of the duties for the child is to make a timeline. You have to use pictures and decorate any way the child likes.
Genevieve was very excited for this project.
Jillian was just excited to be in a picture.

The board also had a cut out of her hand and a few of her favorite foods.

She designed the color strips around her picture!

The finished project! Yay for Genevieve you did great!

Brett's Head!

About 2 weeks ago, Brett went home teaching and it was a night after a pretty bad ice storm. He had just left a family and WAM, down the stairs and on his back. His phone went flying in the air so he immediately started looking for that and then noticed the blood pouring out of his head and onto everything. He continued to look for a minute than realized he should leave and get some help. Luckily he was in the neighborhood because he drove himself home. His companion was with him. He walked up to the door and i about had a heart attack. I ran and got a towel but quickly realized he needed to get to the hospital right away. His companion stayed at our house and I called Brett's parents to come over since i didn't know how long we would be. By the time we got to the ER, the towel was completely soaked in blood. It took a little while to be seen but we finally got a Dr. They did a CT and his head was clear just needed some stitches. 4 bright blue stitches. He was sitting in the chair getting stitched up and asking if it was ok if he played in his basketball that saturday. The nurse was like probably not a good idea and he's like but not totally bad, I told her to say NO you can not, otherwise he will go. So she told him no and I am very happy he didn't play that week. He is doing great now and the stitches are out, thanks to a sweet nurse in our ward and he's back to playing ball.
