Jolie's Locks of Love!

Today was a very exciting day. Jolie went straight from school to the Tranquility Salon. We opened the doors and staff greeted her with a smile and said we've been waiting for you. She was beaming. The hopped her up in a chair and took her picture, she was more than happy to pose. They measured and rubberbanded her hair into sections and snip snip it was gone. 10 inches just like that. She didn't even flinch. The stylist was so sweet to Jolie, asking all about her and her sisters and new brother. She even found out what Jolie's favorite song was and had them play it in the salon. Hannah Montana " the best of both worlds". As Jolie said " They treated me like a princess". She was in heaven and the women there were so funny. They kept watching and talking about her gorgeous hair the whole time. I was so nervous i would get teary eyed, but i was just as much smiles. I think seeing her so happy and the attitude of the moment really helped. She is so excited for her hair to be made into a wig for a child.....to bad we couldn't meet the little girl! Say goodbye to the tears of long hair and hello to the older more mature almost 7 year old hair. We love you Jolie and are so proud of you.

Look out Uncle Jeff there's a new fire chief in town!

I talked to someone today that said there is this great thing at the fire station today where there's free hot dogs and candy and they let the kids hold the hose and show the jaws of life and she just made it sound so fun. I came home and told Brett about it and got the kids all excited. We got to the station and the first thing they do is bring you to a table to "sign in", Brett was quite the excitement at the station. He turned to me a few minutes later and whispers any other brilliant ideas to get me recruited. It was a major recruitment fair. BUT we still had fun, eating the popcorn and seeing all the fun fire fighter stuff. Jolie put on a bunch of the gear and crawled through a maze on her belly, she looked so cute and had so much fun. We took a few pictures in front of a fire truck, Brett even drove it, well at least pretended to drive. In all it was a great way to get the kids out and have a little fun even if Brett didn't sign up. :)

Budding Artists!

School was closed due to ice. They love to paint and so we decided to work on the baby room. The girls loved painting a captains wheel and an anchor shelf. When we get more done we will put more pictures up.

I also included a picture of me 8months preggo for those that are interested :)

T-Ball is here!

Pink light up gloves and pink bats. Who knew! Even Brett couldn't deny the game has evolved. The girls couldn't wait to test there new equipment and daddy couldn't wait to see how they would do. It was so much fun to watch them. They did so well for pretty much there first time. We found out Jolie has quite the power with a bat. Genevieve is quick with her glove and well we all need to practice our throwing. I can't wait to see there uniforms. Hopefully the excitement lasts the whole season, well a whole game for starters.

A moment in the life of Jillian

Jillian as some of you may know has a tendency to get into stuff. She really likes it when you catch her and she tries to finish up whatever mess as quick as she can. Well this particular moment she discovered that pulling a kid table up to the counter was just the ticket for a strong good mess. The picture shows just what happens when you mix peanut butter and jelly with your hands onto the kitchen. It only took her about a minute to achieve such a glamorous mess. The other picture was the wrong one, but i'm still figuring this out and am not sure how to delete it, so it's just a moment of sweetness. Until she strikes again!
