Diaper Derby!

My friend Julie told me about this Diaper Derby a radio station holds every year. Luckily Jacob is a super crawler so I thought hey he could do this. we practiced and were pumped.
It started with a good nap around the mall. Never race exhausted. Then the announcing of the racers.

Brett was on one end and I was on the catching end.

They yell GO, Jacob does not go. He instead seems a little overwhelmed by all the pressure and the major loud screams.

But wait what is this....

Mommy is over there, saying come to her.....

Daddy is telling me go go go...

I am almost there but wait

oh yeah that's my mom

These are of course out of order, he starts to venture out.

mommy really wants me to come to her and she has that phone i can never have.

Two of our friends were in a race after us, Naomi in the pink and Brett's old co worker from EDS his daughter in the green.

This could be the start of something beautiful!

Yay! made it to mommy! He didn't win but had a lot of fun anyway!

Look at that face!

It looked like she had a good start ( Naomi) but decided to see what her friend there was doing?

Thanks Julie we had a blast!

* The first time I saw him it was like out of a movie, the heavens parted and he was there!
* His fish hook
* His strong testimony, he had just got home from his mission and I was at his homecoming talk, he made my heart flutter.
* His love for his family
* His smokin hot body!
* His fun spirit, playin jokes right from the start.
* His dedication when i thought it was impossible.

Piano and FHE!

This is the piano we have in our home now! We all love it. It's gently used and has yellow keys but it is perfect for little Jake to reach up on his toes and tink away. Jolie is SO excited for lessons and so is mommy.

This is the fabulous FHE kit Aunt Nichole and Uncle Erik made for our family for Christmas. This has been such a blessing for our family. The girls are so excited to be able to pick a bag and learn about the scriptures! Thank you so much guys we LOVE it.

Aunt Nichole giving a wonderful lesson of the woman at the well, we all learned a little more that night.

Yay! The wondeful piano, it's a Baldwin that i have no idea the year, it still needs to be tuned, but i still one hand for fhe night.
The girls watching with real intent, if only they would do that for me....
The boys!

Happy NEW Year!....a little late!

Jillian and Jacob's new year ended a little earlier than the others.
Jake learning a few tricks from Uncle E.

This is the year of our 10 yr. anniversary!!!!

To the best sisters around....i didn't get you!!!

Playing UNO with uncle Erik, you can tell there's a little competiveness in our girls :)

Turns out Jacob LOVES sparkling cider, his face was so cute all puckered up after he would have a taste.
Nichole and I practicing our Wii skills on Dancing with the stars. I love that game!!!

In step! oh yeah!

Here's a pucker shot of big jake after a sip of the bubbleee, you can see i didn't do a very good job of putting these in order.

Mommy and Jillian!!!!!!!!!!

A pic of all the grandkids, oops minus Creighton on Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa Fox's!

Jacob not really enjoying the new years hat!
So i am very sorry for being so negtful to the blog. I have to say when you fall super behind like i have, it's a little daunting of trying to bring it up to date. But i really missed it so a new year it is and the start is a little shaky but hopefully it will level out for the best. Happy New Year everyone and I can't wait to read everyone's new and exciting adventures....like how Jillian painted our carpet steps with Nail Polish....oh yes she strikes again!!!!

Brett's favorite spot!
Cheerios are SOOO good......
especially when Colton is feeding them to me.
Creighton and Grandpa Fox he was not feeling good and had pink eye....the next week he would get RSV and Colton would have Pneumonia and be in the hospital for 4 days....poor little boys. THankfully they are healthy and happy now.
