Another year older and wiser too!
Portillo's chocolate cake helped soften the blow!!!!

Spring soccer!

Spring soccer was a great season! We had 3 in this time. Jacob was able to play on a team for the first time and Jillian too. Genna was on her same team from the Fall! They played so well and learned so much. We also learned that Jacob really likes to SCORE!!!  We of course already knew he liked to run but it was still fun to see him running like a wild man! Jillian held her own playing on a team of a lot of boys. She showed strength, determination and skill. Way to go guys!

May 22nd - Jacob graduate's Preschool!

Jacob's preschool did a very simple little ceremony for him to graduate preschool.  He sang a few songs and even played the sticks. It was very sweet and he LOVED it.  They presented him with his certificate and he gladly accepted it.  We are so proud of our BIG boy who will start Kindergarten in the fall!

May 10th 2013 - Girls Night!

The big girls and I had a fun girls night in May! We got on pj's, put some fun braids in..well mostly they put them in mommy's hair.  They each picked their very own carton of Ben and Jerry's ice cream. We stayed up late eating and watching a movie.  It was a great night and we loved our special girl time!

Tales to Tackle! May 4th 2013

Genevieve entered a really fun reading contest at her middle school. She had to read a lot of books and then be entered into a raffle. She was picked to go to The Chicago Bears stadium and practice with the Bears!!! She was VERY excited and was even more excited that she got to bring Daddy with her.  Brett took A LOT of pictures...over a 150 of them. I picked only a few but it looked and sounded like a very fun afternoon.  Brett was a little bummed because they made the parents stay in the stands and watch ONLY! He was allowed to go with Genevieve on the tour of the locker room so that was fun! She really liked meeting the players and being at the stadium and trying all the drills! Way to go Genevieve!
